Since its foundation in 1976, equipment maintenance and repair has always been at the forefront of Sono Video’s mission.  Along the years, various manufacturers such as Sony, Sanyo, Evertz, Crestron, Anton Bauer, etc., have seen the expertise and knowledge of our department and have recognized it as an authorized service center.  Furthermore, to qualify and remain as an authorized service center, Sono Video invests heavily in the training and continuous education of its staff.  Thus, every year our technicians receive training from manufacturers that we resell.  By investing in our personnel and equipment, we are able to offer our customers a qualified and knowledgeable repair service.  Also, as an authorized service center, we have access to the manufacturers service memos and blueprints of the gear on which we carry out maintenance.

One of the elements that sets us apart if the possibility for customers to contact our technicians directly.  Be it for explanations on how to operate the gear, an emergency repair, clarifications on a repair, etc.  our technicians are there to help you.  When a reported problem does not occur in our workshop, don’t be surprised if you receive a phone call from the technician working on your gear.  He will ask you numerous questions to get a better picture of the problem and try to reproduce it in-shop;  this step has one goal;  identify the cause of the problem and fix it as quickly as possible.

Furthermore, when a piece of equipment is purchased from us, you automatically get a rebate on rentals of replacement gear.  Finally, our repairs and maintenance are covered by a 3 month warranty.
